About Us


The Company is a public Company owned by the Vanuatu Government and private investors.

The plant was originally built in 1972 and since that time has upgraded every year.  In its current configuration the plant can export to New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Japan, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Wallis & Fortuna, Samoa, Tahiti, New Caledonia.

The plant process two types of beef, organic and natural beef.  The organic beef is certified by Agri Quality New Zealand on a yearly basis as are the farms where that beef was reared.  The natural beef comes from farms that only feed them grass and are antibiotic free.

The beef in Vanuatu has no diseases.

Some of our customers require chilled product which the plant does through vacuum packing. The shelf life achieved at is 75 days.

The plant employs 69 people, 67 are Ni- Vanuatu people. They are highly skilled.

The plant runs under 49 quality systems which are audited by the quality assurance officer and by the technical manager. A Government veterinarian comes to the plant daily and also does an audit. While we are processing there are two meat inspectors present.  The food safety program is run to the same standard as New Zealand M A F.

The Company has implemented a five year plan of expansion and upgrading which in year four will enable the plant to be EU and US registered for export to these countries.
